Saturday at the Dog Shelter

Gateway students received instructions. Volunteers loaded supplies for the shelter
Dogs waiting for a parent!

This past Saturday (Oct 25) I spent most of the day at the Cleveland, TN Animal shelter with my Freshman Orientation class doing Service Saturday.
We began at 10:30 AM and worked until 3 PM, doing various jobs needed at the shelter. I worked with a group of about 10 students planting new shrubs and totally remulching and rerocking the flower beds around the animal shelter.

We only broke for about 20 minutes to eat a sandwich and chips, then back to work!
